Single shot Phazzler system operating at 1 micron

Most laboratories or industrial companies using or developing amplified femtosecond laser systems based on Nd:Glass or Ytterbium gain media use FROG devices when phase characterization of their laser system is required.

While implementing SPIDER technique for phase characterization is often desired, the narrowband nature of such lasers prevents one to design a compact instrument.
